Snowmobile in the powder snow of the ‘’ Wildlife reserve of the Laurentides’.
(Partnership with the Wildlife reserve of the Laurentides and SEPAQ: ‘’Societé des établissements de plein air au Quebec’’.
- On and off-trail circuit intended for people who already had snowmobiling experience.
- From an athletic level, it is particularly designed to move from driving to operating a snowmobile, while learning to drive in deep snow.
- The landscapes are particularly wild, the hostel or cottage is in rustic wood, and we will be heating it as soon as we get there.

Program : 4 days ad 500km of snwmobiling in the mountains
Day1 : Arrival in Québec
We pick you up at the Quebec airport or in the city center at your convenience. We drive to the cottage ‘’ Nord Expe Adventure’’ in the warm atmosphere or solid wood. You’re only 35 minutes from the Quebec City but already in the nature. While you sit down and take into account your snowmobile equipment for the duration of your stay, you’ll be sitting with a welcome drink in front of the fireplace. Preparation begins with how you will pack your things in a waterproof bag that we will provide for the duration of the trip. Your guide for these few days will briefly talk to you on safe driving of your snowmobile, coding on the trails, driving techniques off-trail, and finally, the stay program.
Day 2 : snowmobile
You are now ready to tackle the challenges and go North towards the Wildlife reserve of the ‘’Laurentides’’ by snowmobile. First day to get accustomed to driving on the trails and getting the feel of the snowmobile. You spend the night at the Hostel ‘’Le Relais’’ situated in the heart of the park.
Day 3 : snowmobile
This day marks the entry to the heart of the park and its powdered snow. Starting off-track going towards the Pikauba Lake. You’re driving on groomed trails and lakes becoming an expert on off-trail driving…. But beware because you adventurers talent will be tested with the lighting of the stove which also serves as your cooking stove !
Day 4 : snowmobile
This third day of snowmobiling takes place in the park where we will discover the most beautiful resorts, hunting, and fishing on the reserve. In the evening, you return to the hostel where you will be able to take a hot shower…
Day 5 : snowmobile
Last day of snowmobiling already, driving in mixed, (trails and off-trails) towards Sainte Brigitte-of-Laval through the Montmorency forest. Returning to the baseline late afternoon, evening and night at the cottage ‘’ Nord Expe’’.
Day 6 : Departure from Québec
Other winter activity to your liking or a nice visit of the Quebec City before returning with the definite desire to come back for another adventure!
Optional day of snowmobile in the powdered snow!
Radiant drive in the park in search of deep powdered snow to perfect your turning techniques! The adventure continues with lunch taken in a shelter or in the nature depending on the weather. Evening and night spent in the beautiful round wood hostel of the ‘’Moreau Lake’’.

We reserve the right to modify your trip if the weather conditions are not suitable for snowmobiling.

Level family to athletic :
- No snowmobile experience is required but you need to have a valid driving license for car or motorcycle.
- A good physical condition is necessary
- Need to be 21 of age to sign on the rental contract
Guides :
- Professional guides, Rescue graduates and specialists of survival in remote areas.

- Hearty breakfasts, energetic lunches, evening meals from a choice of our Quebec specialties.
Luggage :
- Your suitcase or any other heavy equipment will be kept at the cabin on the morning of your departure. We will give you a waterproof bag of 40L for your luggage.
Formalities :
- Valid passport, no visa necessary
Money :
List of equipment : *available on site for sale*
- 1 or 2 balaclavas to wear underneath helmet (non-cotton)
- 2 undergarments (non-cotton)
- 2 pairs of long johns
- 3 pairs of socks (minimum skis) non-cotton
- Pulls or polar vest
- Neckband type wind stopper, no scarf
- Polar gloves or wool
- Warm hat, if possible windbreaker
- Mini travel bag (attention ladies, volume checked before departure)
