LES MONTS VALINS "Mount Valins"
No particular difficulties in this snowmobile rally. Valin Mountains are undoubtedly a must. The strength on this patch is visiting the most snowed in regions of Quebec, the off-trails excursion in the wildlife reserve of the ‘’ Laurentides’’, and the beautiful scenery of “Mont Valin”.
Period: December 20th to March 20th
Program: 6 days and 1100 km of snowmobiling in the mountain
Day 1: Arrival
We pick you up at the Quebec airport or in the city center at your convenience. We drive to the cottage ‘’ Nord Expe Adventure’’ in the warm atmosphere or solid wood. You’re only 35 minutes from the Quebec City but already in the nature. Just enough time to sit down and take into account your equipment for the trip, and your sitting with a welcome drink in front of a fireplace.
Day 2: Snowmobile
In the morning, your guide welcomes you after breakfast. Your luggages are ready, paper work is done, your guide will briefly talk to you about safe driving, and the trail codes. Finally, you are now on your way with your snowmobiletowards the natural park of the “Laurentides”. The afternoon will be done on the trails and off-trails within the borders of the reserve.
Day 3 Snowmobile
For this new day you’re heading north crossing the Northern part of the wildlife reserve of the ‘’Laurentides”. The afternoon is devoted to crossing the city of Saguenay, and then the ascent of the foothills of the “Mont Valin”. Your evening lies in a wooden environment at the “Cap au Lest”
Day 4 : Snowmobile
The next day you go on to an excursion of “Mont Valin”, known for trees full of snow nicknamed (mommies). You take advantage of the beautiful landscape again all afternoon on trails that will finally bring you to a real trapper cabin. Your host for the evening is a specialist in dog sledding expeditions. Day 5: Snowmobile
Today, we cross the North of the Valins along the Fjord Saguenay towards “Sacré Coeur” through the breathtaking Mountains on a fast enough trail. You will discover Fjord and its landscapes in a majestic nature. The evening is spent in a leisure farm specialised in animals, it has wolves, deer, buffalos etc…
Day 6: Snowmobile
Once through the Fjord on the icebreaker “Tadoussac” to travel around Charlevoix which is very hilly, this region has inspired many artists. On this trip you will be able to enjoy the view of the “Fleuve Saint Laurent’’. We will then cross the Mount Charlevoix for an arrival at the hostel ‘”Micoustine chez Chrystel & Francois Jerome”, owner of this hostel located in a former farm and known for its fine cuisine.
Day 7: Snowmobile
Last day towards Sainte Brigitte de Laval, always in the Charlevoix and the wildlife reserve of the Laurentides and its landscape…. Unforgettable! It is time to leave your snowmobiles and equipment behind. The dinner is filled with souvenirs and details of your trip
Day 8: Departure
Leaving from Sainte Brigitte de Laval and returning to civilization…

- No snowmobile experience is required but you need to have a valid driving license for car or motorcycle.
- A good physical condition is necessary
- Need to be 19 of age to sign on the rental contract
